The Wilfer master workshop was founded in 1905 by master luthier Emanuel Wilfer Sr. Within the last 100 years, his master instruments have got more and more sought-after by musicians and collectors. Today, the workshop is successfully run in the fourth generation by Roland and Rudolf Wilfer.
Fully carved double bass,ribs, neck and back made of good maple and good spruce top; back and top arched. Tyrolean tuning machines (brass).

This instrument is very similar to No. 10, but the back and ribs are lightly flamed.
This double bass consists of flamed maple and selected spruce top that definitely meets high requirements.
